Privacy Policy

In short: PropertyCalc does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
About the app
PropertyCalc is an iPhone app for converting area (ft² and m²), converting currencies and calculating rental yield (ROI). It is developed and published by Mikhail Ozerov (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or any other personal data, and it has no sign-in.
The numbers you type (areas, amounts, prices, rent, service charges) are used only for calculations on your device. They are not saved and are reset each time the app starts.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps a small amount of technical data in the standard iOS app storage on your device:
- the most recently downloaded exchange rates, so the app can work offline;
- a launch counter, used to decide when to show Apple’s standard “Rate this app” prompt.
This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
Exchange rates
To show current exchange rates, the app downloads public rate data from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com). The request does not include any personal information. As with any internet request, the provider’s servers receive your device’s IP address and basic technical information needed to deliver the data. This is handled under ExchangeRate-API’s own terms and privacy policy.
Ratings and reviews
The “Rate this app” prompt is provided by Apple. If you leave a rating or review, it is processed by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy; we do not receive any personal information from it.
Third parties, advertising and tracking
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
